Create an Online Events on Website

Before creating event, you need to make sure that your YouTube account does not violate any terms of YouTube. In addition, you also need to install “Allow embedding” as shown below.

Step 1: Select “My Content” on the menu shown on the left, then all the contents you have posted will be displayed.

Step 2: You tap the “Create an event” button, the next time you select an online event:

If your account is not connected to YouTube, Yam will ask you to connect your account.

Step 3: Copy & paste the YouTube link of the event which you’ve created on YouTube to the screen below. Then you press the “Continue” button.

Step 4: Yam displays the Title and event description information screen.

Content is defaulted to the information you set up in YouTube. You can edit the information and then press the “Continue” button.

Step 5: Next, provide all details of the online event including:

  • Cover: select “Edit image” to choose photo from your album.
  • Event title & description.
  • Date and time of the event.
  • Event Access.
  • Choose who can have access to join your event by clicking in those boxes of that subscriptions.
  • In cases those boxes are left empty, everyone can buy tickets if they want to participate in your event.
  • Price of the event.
  • Click in the boxes for the subscriptions who don’t have to buy tickets but still able to join in your event.
  • Everyone can buy tickets in situations you left empty all boxes.
  • For free event, you can skip this part.
  • Category: approach the right people by selecting your event categories.

Step 6: Finally, you press the “Event Preview” button to view the display towards end user. If you need to edit the event, press the “Edit” button. If the event’s information is complete, press “Publish” button to complete.

Create an Offline Events on Website

Step 1: Select “My Content on the left menu, you will see all of the content you have posted as the screen below.

Step 2: Click “Create events” button, the next time you select an offline event

Step 3: At the offline event creation screen, you enter the full information of the event including:

  • Cover: you click the “Edit photo” button to select a cover photo from your device
  • Tittle
  • Description

Next, you press the “Continue” button.

Step 4: You will see the information setting screen for the offline event as below. On this screen, you will enter the information:

  • Date and time of the start of the event.
  • The date and time of the end of the event.
  • Event access
  • You can limit to some fan groups that know you post events by ticking into subscriptions below the access.
  • If you don’t tick any subscriptions, Yam defaults all users have the right to buy tickets that know you’re posting your event.
  • The price of the event.
  • You can be free for some groups of fans who don’t need to buy event tickets by ticking into the Subscriptions below Event Prices.
  • If you don’t tick any subscriptions, Yam defaults to all users having to purchase an event ticket at the price you set.
  • If you want to post a free event, skip the event price entry.
  • Number of tickets:
  • If you don’t want to limit the number of people who can buy tickets to the event, leave this item blank.
  • Category: you can categorize your content by assigning some more categories.

Step 5: You press the “Continue” button to go to the event venue setup screen. You enter the address information in the screen below, and then press the “Continue” button

Step 6: Finally, you will see the preview screen of that event. Edit the event by click “Edit” button. Once it’s done, select “Publish” button to complete.
