With App Yam
How do I create a new content from the App?
Step 1: From the homepage, click the plus icon. Next, you select the “Create content” feature as shown below.
Step 2: In case you are not connected to Youtube, Yam will open the screen for you to make the connection.
Step 3: After connecting Youtube successfully, Yam will open the content creation screen. You copy the youtube link of the content you want to post and paste it into the link input area. Next, click the “Post Content” button.
Step 4: After pressing the “Post Content” button, you will see a screen detailing information related to your content. At this screen, you can enter the details of the content including:
- Title and description
- Publication date
- Content access:
- You can limit certain groups of fans who can see content by checking Subscriptions below access.
- If you do not have a subscription, Yam defaults to all users having permission to view your content.
- Price of content
- You can get some fanbases free without purchasing content by checking Subscriptions under Content Pricing.
- If you do not accumulate any subscription, Yam defaults to all users to buy content at the price you specify.
- If you want to post content for free, skip the step of entering the content price.
- Categories: you can categorize your content by assigning some more categories.
- Free teaser: You paste the youtube link containing the teaser you want to send to your fans.
Step 5: After completing the information, press the “Preview” button, you will see the content that is about to be posted from the perspective of the fans.
In case you want to continue editing the content, click the “Edit” button.
Step 6: You click the “Finish and Post” button to complete the content creation process.
With Web Yam
How to create a new content from the Web?
Step 1: You click on My content on the left menu, Yam will display all the content you have posted as the screen below.
Step 2: Click the “Post Content” button. Yam will display a screen where you can paste the link to the content from Youtube. In case your account is not connected to Youtube, Yam will ask you to connect your account.
Step 3: Paste the Youtube link of the content you want to post and press the “Continue” button, you will see the screen to enter the details of the content as below. At this screen, you can enter information about your content Title and description. In case you do not enter information, Yam will default to the content at Youtube.
Step 4: Next, click “Continue” to go to the detailed settings screen for the content.
At this screen, you need to enter the following information:
- Publication date
- Content access:
